We identify and structure our day to include the 9 areas of development and learning: Social-Emotional, Physical, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, and the Arts. Cognitive development encompasses the Approaches to Learning ELOF domain, (Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five.) *Sunshine Circles adapt a play-based modality from a dyadic teacher-child relationship and a group format to focus on the development of healthy relationships. Sunshine Circles are adult-directed, structured play therapy-based groups that incorporates playful, cooperative, and nurturing activities that enhance the emotional well being of children.
*Building secure and trusting relationships is the heart of what we do! Research shows this is the foundation to children’s development in all domains and it is most important to us to provide this for your infant, toddler and child.
*Responsive Relationships and Interactions: By engaging in sensitive and responsive caregiving and interactions during daily routines, we build secure and trusting relationships. To support trusting relationships and responsive interactions, each child will be assigned a primary caregiver. Caregivers will be assigned to smaller groups of infants and toddlers.
*Daily Routines as Opportunities for Learning: Caregiving routines and interactions are opportunities for learning! We provide teaching opportunities to support all learning domains of development during one to one caregiving routines.
*Individual Care plans are developed with each family to help create individualized schedules for infants and toddlers. All infants, toddlers and twos will be provided individualized teaching depending on the needs of each child. Progress in the developmental domains are consistently monitored and tailored to meet your child’s needs.

My 9-month old son is a student at the Meadow’s School and I cannot say enough about this place; from the teachers to the directors, everyone is so friendly and helpful.
My 3.5yrs old son has been going to the meadows school since he was 6 months old, and our experience with them has been nothing short of awesome. The owners Heather and Cindy are very understanding, caring and always there to give a ear to your concerns.
Our daughter has been a student in Miss Ashley’s class of The Meadow’s School for almost 2 months and we are so very impressed by how much she has already learned!
